Atletico de Kolkata skipper Luis Garcia may have to cool his heels for a week after picking up a hamstring injury during his side's game against Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League here Sunday.
The 36-year-old Spaniard, who has plied his trade for giants like Barcelona and Liverpool besides Atletico de Madrid, pulled the muscle a little before the lemon break at the Salt Lake stadium match which ended 1-1.
"He has sustained a hamstring injury. Which may take seven days to heal," said team operational manager Rajat Ghosh Dastidar.
However, team manager Antonio Habas downplayed the injury, claiming Garcia was "a bit tired and needs rest".
