The Scottish football club Celtic are considering to sign Iranian Rostov striker Sardar Azmoun.
Accroding to Tehran Times daily on Monday, Celtic are keen on Azmoun as a potential replacement for Moussa Dembele if he moves out this summer, reports Xinhua news agency.
The 22-year-old Iranian player scored a brace in a friendly match against Montenegro Sunday night, and Iran won the match 2-1.
He has 18 goals from 25 caps and is a regular for his national team.
Azmoun recently vowed not to go anywhere unless he is guaranteed first-team football.
"I want to go to a big club and develop as a player, but I need to be serious about choosing the right moment to go. I am sure I will move to a top European club in the future," he said.
