Iran vows to keep supporting Palestinian cause

Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif has said supporting the Palestinian cause is one of the principle policies of the country.

"Unfortunately, counter measures to the (Palestinian) resistance movement take place from the Muslim world today," Zarif said on Sunday in a meeting with a visiting delegation of the Islamic Hamas movement, IRNA news agency reported.

Zarif urged the Muslim countries to set aside differences and unite when it comes to the issue of Palestine, Xinhua reported.

"Supporting Palestine is a principle policy of the Islamic republic," Zarif stressed.
