Italian man run over by his own car while trying to fix it

Turin (Italy), Sep 26 (IANS/AKI) A 64-year-old man was knocked down and seriously injured by his own car on Monday in Turin in northwest Italy, as he attempted to repair the vehicle, police said.

The man was hospitalised in a critical condition after the accident which happened at around 1 a.m. at Turin's central station as he was trying to jump-start the car.

Traffic police were called to the scene and impounded the vehicle after it unexpectedly lurched forward and ploughed into the man.
