The final of the LMW ITF Men's Futures tennis tournament fell flat with second seeded Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan prevailing over Vijayant Malik who retired with a twisted ankle when trailing 2-6, 1-5 here Saturday.

The 24-year old Nedunchezhiyan, seeded second and ranked 400, thus annexed his third career pro title while Malik, who had ousted top seeded Sriram Balaji Friday, offered no worthwhile resistance in the one-sided final.
