Jagaran Group CEO Sanjay Gupta was on Monday appointed Chairman of the society and board of governors of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar.
Gupta, 52, will hold the post for five years from June 23, a Ministry of Human Resource Development statement said. Gupta has been associated with the Jagran Group for more than two decades.
He served as a member of board of governors in IIM Lucknow from 2004 to 2009 and as member board of governors of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad in 2003-11.
