Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL) on Tuesday announced its plans to launch Jaguar XE on February 3 and has opened booking for the car across its dealerships.
"Coming from an impeccable lineage of extraordinary Jaguar sports saloons, we are confident that XE's thrilling performance and dynamic design will set a new standard for excellence and will be a game changer in the segment," said JLRIL president Rohit Suri in a statement.
Coming in two petrol variants with 147 kW and 177 kW output, the all new Jaguar XE is equipped with aluminium-intensive monocoque.
The new car boasts of features such as torque vectoring by braking, all surface progress control (ASPC), softgrain windsor leather seats, panoramic sliding sunroof, interior mood lighting, navigation system, surround camera system and 380 watts Meridian sound system, the statement said.
Jaguar has a retailer network of 23 authorised outlets across major Indian cities.
