Owing to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's critical health, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday postponed the Jan Ashirwad Yatra which was to begin Thursday from Chhindwara district.
"I am praying for Atal ji's speedy recovery. He has been an inspiration for all," the Chief Minister told reporters.
"Chief Minister Chouhan's Jan Ashirwad Yatra was to begin Thursday but since Atal ji's health is on a decline since last night, the Yatra has been postponed. Next date for the Yatra will be decided soon," Bharatiya Janata Party leader Prabhat Jha told reporters in Chhindwara.
