Japanese PM to visit EU

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will visit the European Union (EU) May 7, a day before the Victory in Europe Day of the World War II, the EU announced Friday.

During his one-day visit, Abe will meet the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, Xinhua reported.
