Jay Robotics receives orders for robotic arm

Jay Robotix Pvt. Ltd, a pioneer in multidimensional robotics, has received orders for the new version of "RoboRuka 2.0", a robotic arm which performs repetitive functions.

The Hyderabad-based company has received orders from Sai Surface Coating Technologies, Cosmo Cans and SR Engineering Industries, for production and deployment of more than 10 units of RoboRuka 2.0, which will debut in the market by the end of this year.

"The size of the orders is approximately Rs.10 million," said a company release.

Robotic arms are used in a wide variety of tasks like assembling in electronic and automobile sectors, machining of metals, plastic parts and handling repetitive production capabilities.

"Our focus has always been on innovation. Our expertise in the domain, capability to bring out world-class technology and in-depth knowledge about the Indian industrial market has helped us to establish a strong foothold in the industrial as well as in other sectors," the release quoted managing director Sudhir Reddy as saying.
