Rapper Jay Z is reportedly eager that his wife Beyonce Knowles ties up for a duet with powerhouse Taylor Swift.
According to a source, the "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker is keen for Knowles and Swift's collaboration on a new track and Jay Z treated their attendance at Swift's birthday party as a business meeting, reports hollywoodlife.com.
"Taylor Swift's birthday was not just a fun celebration, it was also a business meeting for her, Jay Z, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. Name me four other people that are more powerful in the music world right now. Jay Z is obviously aware of this and he is the ultimate business man," the source said.
The 45-year-old rapper and music producer wants to use the "Shake it off" hitmaker's "powerhouse" status to develop his brand.
The source added: "He knows that Taylor is an extreme powerhouse. He has told Taylor his ideas - he wants to do music with her, and he also wants her to do music with Beyonce.
"Jay Z wants her brand to go in with him for other business ventures as well. If those four walk into a room, who is going to say no to them? Nobody! Jay Z is a mogul, he wants to make the most out of their friendship and business relationship and make the Mount Rushmore of music."
