Actress Jennifer Lawrence took extremity and dedication to a different level for the movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" - she ate a raw fish in order to get into the skin of her character.
The 23-year-old essays Katniss Everdeen in the sci-fi adventure drama.
"I had to eat a raw fish! And not like a sushi raw fish. I held a fish and had to eat it. And for the record, it tastes exactly how it smells," Lawerence said in a statement.
Talking about how the crew of the movie motivated her to do it, she said: "They kept saying its Sushi and I am like, I am beholding it and I don't like fish. But no, I don't care, give me some soya sauce on it and give me some rice."
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is the second film in the "The Hunger Games" trilogy.
It releases in India Nov 29 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
