Jet Airways posts net loss of Rs.217.6 crore in Q1

Jet Airways reported a net loss of Rs.217.60 crore for the first quarter (April-June) of 2014-15, a filing by the company in the Bombay Stock Exchange said here Monday.

The airline, 24 percent of which is owned by Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways, reported net loss of Rs.355.38 crore during the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The total income has increased from Rs.4064.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 to Rs.47,40.66 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014, the statement said.
