Singer Shaan, who has amazed the audiences with his dancing skills in the reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", says his unbelievable journey in the show has led him to believe that determination can make anything possible.

The 40-year-old singer, who was here to attend the launch of sitar player Purbayan Chatterjee's album "Trialogue", hopes to do something different with his music as well.

"People normally compartmentalise other people, like this person only does this. May be I am proving that if one wants then one person can do different things. If you are determined and work hard, like I didn't know dancing but during the show I understood that if you work hard and give something time, then the impossible will also become possible," said Shaan, who is one of the top five finalists in the dance reality show.

"After this I will try and do something different in music as well, something that people do not expect of me, semi-classical or something," he added.

The other contestants in the top five are TV actress Drashti Dhami, dancers Lauren Gottlieb and Mukti Mohan and "India's Got Talent" winners Sonali and Sumant.

"Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6", which airs on Colors channel, is being judged by choreographer-director Remo D'Souza, filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Madhuri Dixit.
