Jharkhand girl commits suicide over exam pressure

A college-going girl committed suicide here on Monday due to exam pressure, police said.

Megha Prajapati, who was living in the Vinayakam girls hostel in Tarpakhana area, hung herself in her room.

She hailed from Bundu town, 50 km from the state capital, the police said.

Prajapati was a first-year B.A. English Honours student in the local Marwari college.

The police have recovered a suicide note which revealed that she was tense about her ongoing examinations.

She had failed last year.
