JSW Sports will launch its new football club at the Bangalore Football Stadium Saturday.
Making their I-League debut this season, the club has roped in former Manchester United player Ashley Westwood as coach and has also signed India international Robin Singh.
"We are really pleased that Bangalore is going to be home to this new and promising club. We hope and believe that this will be the feeder club for the national team in the years to come," said Karnataka State Fotball Association (KSFA) president A.R. Khaleel.
JSW Sports also signed three Bangalore boys - Kutty Mani, Don Bosco Andrew and Vishal Kumar - Thursday.
Midfielder Kutty, 26, has spent five seasons with Mumbai FC and one at Pune FC. Don Bosco started out at Bangalore SAI before spending three years at Goa's SESA Academy while defender Vishal started out with HAL before spending two seasons at Pailan Arrows and has represented India at the junior level.
