Los Angeles, April 20 (IANS) Actor Jude Law says he never took "tablets" when he used to get unwell as a child, as his mother did not want him to.
The 40-year-old, who will soon be seen as psychiatrist in thriller movie "Side Effects", grew up in a health-conscious environment, reports contactmusic.com.
"I grew up in a family where I didn't even get headache tablets. My mother wasn't a health freak, but she had strong principles," Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper quoted Law as saying.
"In the 1970s, that was just becoming popular: 'we shouldn't eat this and that, or not watch TV that much'. And a dislike of painkillers and pills was a part of it," he added.
