The AAP said on Wednesday that Lt Governor Najeeb Jung had promised action over allegations that a police bus tried to crush AAP leader Dilip Pandey.
"We have given him a CD and other evidence," Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh told the media after he, Pandey and party colleagues Kumar Vishwas and Ashutosh called on Jung.
"The Lt. Governor promised to talk to the police commissioner to ensure action is taken against the culprit," Sanjay Singh said.
An AAP delegation also plans to call on Delhi Police chief B.S. Bassi later Wednesday. Sanjay Singh said they had also sought time to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Pandey -- and the AAP -- alleged that the police bus was involved in an attempt to overrun him while he was speaking with journalists outside the Rajendra Nagar police station on Tuesday evening.
