Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung will send his report to President Pranab Mukherjee after all political parties expressed their desire for fresh assembly elections.

A statement from the Raj Bhawan Monday said the BJP, the AAP and the Congress "expressed their inability" to form a government because of the hung assembly.

Jung "would be sending his report to the president", the statement said.

Jung met leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party Monday.
