Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung Thursday warned young two-wheeler riders of the city against indulging in irresponsible riding on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat Friday or else face serious consequences.
Taking note of the "growing menace" of two-wheeler riders on the occasion, Jung made an appeal to the parents to "control their wards" and also asked the youngsters to "desist from any irresponsible behaviour."
Jung said: "Irrespective of age, the police have been instructed to strictly control miscreants".
"Bikers are warned that any misbehaviour will be dealt with a heavy hand and the sole responsibility and repercussions will rest with them," he added.
