Juventus are reportedly eyeing a move for teenage Sao Paulo defender Lucas Silva.
The 17-year-old impressed the Italian club's talent scouts while captaining the Selecao during last month's FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Xinhua cited from Lancenet.
Normally a central defender, Silva started at right back in his league debut last Sunday, when Sao Paulo lost 2-1 to Fluminense.
Juventus, keen to boost their defensive stocks in the January transfer window, have also shown interest in signing Silva's highly rated countryman Doria.
According to reports, the Turin club offered Botafogo 10 million euros to sign the centre half in August.
