City based anti-virus software developer K7 Computing will soon come out with its product for the enterprise segment and also expand its overseas markets, said a top company official here Monday.

"Presently our entire revenue is from retail segment. We will soon come out with our products for the enterprise segment," J. Kesavardhanan told reporters.

According to him, the enterprise segment needs a different approach and that is being currently worked out.

Launching two new anti-virus softwares - Internet Security and Total Security Pro, he said Indian market has vast potential for security software products.

Only 12 million personal computers have installed such products out of the current base of around 80 million units, he said, adding that around 10 million computers are added every year in India.

Kesavardhanan said the Internet Security product is mainly focussed on protection against digital attacks and is priced at Rs.899.

The Total Security Pro is a comprehensive version and priced at Rs.1,799.

"Our share in the Indian market is around 10 percent," he said.

The company has signed up with the Pune-based Rs.200 crore group Sakri for distributing the anti-virus softwares across the nation.

After entering the Japanese, Sri Lankan and Nepal markets, K7 Computing will now focus on the European markets, Kesavardhanan said.
