Maheck Chahal does a Mandakini!

Actress Maheck Chahal, who is making her fiction TV debut with "Darr Sabko Lagta Hai", has flaunted a sensual look in a white sari while she's playing with water -- a la actress Mandakini's famous shot from "Ram Teri Ganga Maili".

Maheck's Mandakini avatar will be seen in the upcoming episode of the horror series, which airs on &TV.

She will appear in the "Daayan" episode of the show, as a bewitchingly attractive girl Sukanya.

Talking about her choice of flaunting the sensual look, Maheck said in a statement: "I agreed to make an exception for 'Darr Sabko?' because the format is like a film and it was a short commitment. It was quite an experience."

The story of the episode will feature mysterious attacks in a forest where a photographer sees Sukanya and falls for her.

Hosted by actress Bipasha Basu, "Darr Sabko Lagta Hai" is a mini-series that consists of 26 episodes and showcases real life stories. The episode featuring Maheck will be aired on Saturday.

Karan V Grover sports nerdy look

Actor Karan V Grover has donned a nerdy look for his role in the upcoming TV show "Bahu Humari Rajni_kant", in which he essay a genius scientist named Shaan.

His character dedicates his life to learning science. He is an expert when it comes to science and mathematics, but is a little weak at understanding emotions and philosophy.

With nerdy glasses, messy hair and casual easy going outfit, Karan will be seen in a very simple yet different look altogether.

Talking about it, he said: "I don't normally wear glasses but for my character, I have to wear thick glasses to don a serious nerdy look. Although it is little difficult for me to manage my glasses while shooting, I am very happy with my costume as it is very comfortable and I feel like I am at home," Karan said in a statement.

"Personally, I am very calm and easy going but my character is hyper active. Yet I am loving my new look and very excited for the show," he added.

"Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant" highlights the never-ending expectations from a 'bahu' and how she tackles them.

Actress Ridhima Pandit will be paired with Karan in the show, which will be aired on Life OK.
