Domestic handset-maker Karbonn on Tuesday launched a new smartphone -- the Titanium S200 -- priced at Rs.4,999 in an exclusive partnership with Indian e-commerce portal Snapdeal.
The device will come with a five inch HD display, eight megapixel auto-focus enabled rear camera with dual LED Flash and 3.2 megapixel front camera.
The phone will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and will draw juice from a 2,600 mAh Li-polymer battery.
"With smartphones becoming the primary screen for consuming entertainment content, we identified the need for bringing superior screen experience in the budget segment," Shashin Devsare, the executive director of Karbonn Mobiles, said.
"Titanium S200 comes with an HD IPS display offering life-like vibrant image quality for an enhanced smartphone experience. We have partnered exclusively with Snapdeal for Titanium S200 to offer easy access and buying options to our consumers," he added.
The dual SIM Titanium S200 will have 8 GB of internal memory expandable upto 32 GB. It also offers 21 Indian keyboard languages and five Indian user interface languages.
Currently, Karbonn has 85,000 plus retail partners and 900 plus service centres.
