Singer John Mayer has spoken out about ex-girlfriend Katy Perry saying that she is serious about doing great work.
The 36-year-old star, who had an on-off relationship with Perry from 2012, gushed about the "Dark Horse" singer, who is in Sydney, Australia, promoting her upcoming Prismatic world tour.
"She's extremely driven and extremely serious about doing great work," contactmusic.com quoted Mayer as saying.
Perry, 29, reportedly broke up with Mayer last month because he kept breaking promises and their conflicting schedules have made it difficult for them to continue their relationship.
