The Indian challenge in the IBSF World Under-21 snooker championship ended here Saturday when Keerath Bhandal lost 1-3 to Amornrat Uamduang of Thailand in the women's quarter-final.
The 17-year-old Bhandal began well when she took the first frame 65-31, but the Thai player hit back to take the second 83-6 on a break of 43 before pocketing the third on the black 49-46 and closed the match with a run of 32 in the fourth that she won 89-15.
