Buyfie, a Kerala-based e-commerce start-up, has been selected for the prestigious 'in2Korea' acceleration programme.

Buyfie would be able to get on-demand access to professional experts to help entrepreneurs develop from concept to corporation, paired mentorships, and assistance in getting a Korean start-up visa, besides free office space in a start-up campus in Pangyo, known as South Korea's 'Silicon Valley'.

Conducted by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and National IT Industry Promotion Agency, the programme offers start-ups an opportunity to fast-track their growth in one of the world's major IT hubs.

Buyfie was one of the 30 tech start-ups invited to participate in the programme from around the world.

Buyfie, founded by brothers S.S. Praveen, S.S. Pranav and S.S. Prabin, was chosen on the basis of its minimum viable product, that is, a product developed with sufficient features to satisfy initial users.

Buyfie was incubated under 'Start-up Dreams', a social sector initiative by the Scheduled Castes Development Department in association with the Kerala Start-up Mission.

It allows users to discover and buy goods or service deals nearest to their location by name and price and communicate via chat bots and SMSes.
