Singer Alicia Keys, who performed her new song on singing reality show "American Idol", expressed her dismay that Randy Jackson would no longer be a part of the show.

Jackson, who has been a judge on the show since its start in 2002, is leaving the Fox TV singing contest to focus on his other business ventures.

"That's so sad," people.com quoted Keys as saying.

"I think he's amazing. I've really loved him for lots of years," she added.
