Actor Kiefer Sutherland, who has served time behind bars for driving under the influence (DUI), says he lost his "dignity" in jail.
The "24" star -- who spent 48 days in prison in December 2007 after pleading no contest following his fourth arrest for DUI -- said he has gone jail "a few times" in his life for doing "stupid stuff", reports Rolling Stone magazine.
"I've never been to prison... I have gone to jail a few times in my life for doing some incredibly stupid stuff and I can tell you, the first thing you lose when you walk through those doors is your dignity," Sutherland said.
