Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday said the arrest of a terrorist in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir was a "big success", adding this only exposed Pakistan's involvement.
"Catching a terrorist alive is a big success. It brings in open the game plan of Pakistan. The arrest of terrorist in Kupwara is a big success of the security forces," Rijiju told the media.
Earlier reports quoting defence sources said four guerrillas were killed and one apprehended during a gunfight in Nowgam sector of the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
"The operation against the terrorists is still on," an official said.
"The group of terrorists had most likely infiltrated into the Indian side from Pakistan recently," the official said.
