KMDK gets one seat Lok Sabha seat from DMK
The DMK on Tuesday said it signed an electoral pact with Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) according to which the latter would contest one seat in Tamil Nadu in the Lok Sabha polls.
In a statement issued here, the DMK said the agreement was reached with KMDK after talks.
As per the agreement, KMDK will contest in one seat from Tamil Nadu under DMK's Rising Sun poll symbol.
The DMK has inked electoral pacts with Congress (nine seats in Tamil Nadu and the lone Puducherry seat), IUML (1) and KMDK (1).
