He gallops on a horse, swings his sword doing a 360 degree jump, thuds a wall with a kick. He is not just a hero, not even a superhero, but the one and only superstar Rajinikanth in "Kochadaiiyaan".
If the teaser of "Kochadaiiyaan" is anything to go by, fans of 'Thalaivar' are in for a visual treat when the film hits the screens soon.
Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, the film will feature Rajinikanth in three avatars.
While the initial response has been phenomenal on social networking platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, the teaser is also earning some flak for poor visual effects.
One of the initial responses to the teaser on Youtube reads, "One of the worst animations I have ever seen. Whatever the film's story is, the animation quality will kill everything".
Another comment on Twitter reads, "Some PC videogames have better graphics than 'Kochadaiiyaan'."
It is touted to be India's first motion capture technology film being made along the lines of "Tin Tin" and "Avatar".
In an hour since it was posted online, "Kochadaiiyaan" received over 2,000 likes, over 200 dislikes and over 500 comments.
The film also features R. Sarath Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Aadi Pinisetty. It is produced jointly by Eros International and Mediaone Global Entertainment.
The film's audio is slated to be released in October.
