Suspecting foul play behind the disappearance of a city businessman who along with his family had gone on a trip to Singapore, his family members said on Monday they have sought the intervention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in the matter.
According to the family members, Raj Kumar Agarwal went missing on October 6 while aboard a cruise liner in Singapore.
"The ship authorities claim Raj Kumar might have fallen off. But they are neither showing any CCTV footage nor have they done anything to search for him. We suspect there is some conspiracy behind his disappearance," said his brother Praveen Agarwal said.
"We suspect the ship authorities are hiding something. We have written to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj seeking her intervention in the matter," said Agarwal.
The family have also sought help from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the matter.
