Debutante filmmaker Aman Sachdeva, busy promoting his first movie "Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi", says this is the cheapest film coming from Balaji Telefilms and Bejoy Nambiar.
Although the film is backed by established names like Ekta and Nambiar, "Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi" not only has been directed by a debutant, the cast too features newcomers.
"This is the most inexpensive film ever. This is the most cheapest film produced by Ekta ever," Sachdeva told IANS.
"It's been said 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha is the cheapest film from Balaji, but the budget of my film is even lower than that film. The budget of my film is close to Rs.2.5 crore. The recovery is easy if you keep your budget low."
Sachdeva's first project is coming out May 30 and he credits Nambiar for the opportunity.
He said: "I know Bejoy for quite a long time now. He loved the script and things fell in place. This film was possible only because of Bejoy."
