Kuwait has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in New York in which eight persons were killed, the media reported.
"Kuwait firmly rejects all forms of violence and terrorism," Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted a foreign ministry source as saying on Wednesday, according to Xinhua.
"Kuwait reiterates its support to the US in its endeavour to preserve its security and stability, as well as stressing (Kuwait's) supportive stance of international efforts to eradicate terrorism," the source said, extending condolences to families of the victims and wishes of speedy recovery for the wounded.
On Tuesday, a pickup truck drove into the people on a cycle path in Lower Manhattan in New York, killing eight people and injuring 13 others.
