Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney taking a 'break'

Singer Lady Gaga has revealed that she and her fiance Taylor Kinney are just "taking a break".

The "Pokerface" hitmaker -- who got engaged to Kinney in February 2015 -- also urged her fans to keep rooting for them as they cope with the "long-distance and complicated schedules" that keep them apart, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break," Gaga wrote on Instagram along with a photograph of her and Kinney.

"We are both ambitious artistes, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other," she added.

It was previously revealed the couple struggled to deal with the distance as Taylor, 35, was always tied to Chicago.

But the distance was not something new to them as Gaga, 30, recently opened up about how tough it is to be apart.

Before announcing their break, the pair had been busy planning their wedding.
