Lazio accused his Senegalese striker Keita Balde Diao of faking a left knee injury in order to avoid playing on Sunday against Atalanta in the Serie A debut of the new football season.
The Rome-based club on Sunday said the 21-year-old is trying to force Lazio to give him up through aggressive and offensive comments, Efe news reported.
Previously, the player had troubles with Lazio's management after he criticised the sporting project of the club, and asked to amend his contract.
Lazio stressed intention to defend their credibility with all available means.
