Singer Adam Levine has shared a shirtless selfie of himself and asked fans for advice if it works as an ensemble for the forthcoming Oscars ceremony.

He took to Instagram to post the photograph.

Flaunting his tattoos, the Maroon 5 singer is seen in a lavish fur coat, a multicoloured elephant necklace and a red sweatband and some dark shades.

"Oscar ready...too over the top," "The Voice" coach captioned the selfie, reports eonline.com.

Levine will be taking the stage at the upcoming Oscars for his first time to perform the nominated song "Lost stars" from his film "Begin Again".
