Liam Hemsworth felt nervous filming shirtless scenes

Actor Liam Hemsworth got nervous and experienced sleepless nights before shooting for topless scenes in the film "The Dressmaker".

The 26-year-old says he was nervous for a scene in the drama and "didn't eat for weeks" ahead of the shoot, reports eonline.com.

"I didn't eat for weeks. I did some pushups in my trailer. Anytime you're going to come out and take your top off, it's good to do a couple of pushups... It's very difficult to come out and just take your clothes off," Hemsworth said.

"There were lots of sleepless nights. It's very, very difficult to just come out and take your clothes off," he added.

Actress and co-star Kate Winslet sympathised with the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor as she could hear his stomach gurgling during their scene.

"When I would get to the point in the scene where I had to measure his waist, I would actually hear his stomach growling. I would think, 'Poor darling. Let's get the scene done'," Winslet said.
