Light showers occurred in some parts of the national capital on Wednesday, brining relief from the humid weather. The Met office said the city will get more rain on Thursday.
The sky remained partly cloudy through out the day and the maximum temperature settled at 35.8 degrees - a notch below the season's average.
However, parts of the city received light rain in late evening, said an official of the India Meteorological Department. The showers will continue in Delhi on Thursday, he added.
"There will be rain and thunderstorms in some parts of the city tomorrow (Thursday)," the official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 25 degrees Celsius. The city has received 26.5 mm of rainfall since Tuesday morning.
Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees -- three notches below the season's average. The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 97 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 29.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled four notches below the season's average at 23.3 degrees Celsius.
