Bastia have appointed Ghislain Printant as the head coach until the end of the season, the Ligue 1 club has announced.
The 53-year-old made the step up from reserve team boss to interim manager after Claude Makelele was sacked earlier this month, reports Xinhua.
"Ghislain Printant is named Sporting Bastia coach until the end of season," read a short statement on the club's official website Thursday.
Printant has guided the club to a win over Montpellier and a draw against Lyon in his two games in charge to move them up to 15th and is now hopeful of keeping the Corsican outfit in the top flight.
"It is a great pride, an honour," Printant told the club's official website.
