French top division football club Lille LOSC has submitted a formal offer for Santos midfielder Thiago Maia, according to the Brazilian club's president Modesto Roma.
"A proposal has been made and this weekend we will be taking a good look at it," Xinhua news agency quoted Roma as telling Uol news service.
The French Ligue 1 club is understood to have offered 14 million euros ($16.054 million) for the 20-year-old Brazil U-23 international.
Maia has also reportedly attracted interest from Juventus, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
Meanwhile Corinthians have reportedly rejected a 15 million-euro ($17.2 million) bid from CSKA Moscow for left-back Guilherme Arana.
The 20-year-old has been a standout performer this year for Corinthians, who currently lead Brazil's Serie A standings with 11 wins from 13 matches.
