The Himachal Pradesh government has seized 326,094 bulk litres of liquor in the state, the state Election Commission said on Wednesday, a day ahead of the polling for 68-seat assembly.
It said in a statement that cash totalling Rs 1,48,07,615 was seized, including Rs 14,13,460 recovered on Wednesday.
The state will go to the polls in a single phase.Officials said everything was in place for a smooth conduct of the polling in 7,525 booths.
A 50.25-strong lakh electorate, including 19 lakh women and 14 transgenders, will decide the fate of 338 candidates including 19 women.
The vote count will be held on December 18 along with those of Gujarat.
