The finale of the 12th season of American singing reality show "American Idol" will be shown live in India.
The grand finale, which will take place May 17, will also have a performance by pop sensation Psy and former judge Jennifer Lopez, who will launch her new single "Live it up" on the show, which will air on BIG CBS LOVE, said a statement.
Current judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson will judge the ending of the season as contestants Candice Glover and Kree Harrison compete for the winner's title.
Interestingly, for the first time in the history of "American Idol" series top five finalists were girls.
The show also had an Indian origin contestant Gurpreet Singh Sarin, who made it to top 40 and was nick named 'Turbanator' by the judges.
