Liverpool eyeing Monchengladbach starlet Dahoud

German football club Borussia Monchengladbach star Mahmoud Dahoud has attracted the interest of English side Liverpool who are set to bid for the attacking midfielder in January.

The Juergen Klopp coached side have an impressive arsenal of attacking weaponry at their disposal currently, with the likes of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge dovetailing well as a unit.

The quartet have shown this season that on their day they can carve up any opponent, with the outfit winning at Arsenal and Chelsea already in the 2016-17 season.

Dahoud is recognised as a rising star in the Bundesliga and is a relatively regular fixture for the Germany under-21's side also, according to The Express on Saturday.

The report suggests that Liverpool had scouts in attendance to watch the 20-year-old playmaker against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday.

It also states that Liverpool could return with an offer in the range of 25 million pounds ($ 32.5 million) for the skilful playmaker when the transfer window reopens in January.
