Livorno appointed technical director Attilio Perotti as their new head coach after sacking Davide Nicola Monday.
Following their 3-0 defeat to Parma, Livorno decided to fire Nicola, Xinhua reported Tuesday.
The 40-year-old guided Livorno to promotion from Serie B last season, but struggled to bring in the results for the Amaranto this term.
With the club second-from-bottom in the table, the Armando Picchi outfit have confirmed that the tactician has been relieved of his duties.
"Livorno Calcio can announce that it has dismissed first team Coach Davide Nicola," a statement on their website read.
