Lokayukta police raid MP excise officer's house

The Lokayukta police on Friday searched the residence of District Excise Officer Parakram Singh Chandrawat in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, an official said.

The office of Chandrawat has also been sealed, Indore Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Dilip Soni told IANS.

"The Lokayukta team raided the house of Chandrawat in Vijay Nagar. In the initial search, the team found documents related to housing and petrol pumps in the name of his wife and mother," he said.

Soni said that Chandrawat possessed assets worth crores of rupees.
