French footwear designer Christian Louboutin has introduced the Nudes collection and a free iPhone that will help buyers decide which shade suits their skin tone best.
The app is called Louboutin Shades and it allows one to take a photo of their foot and find the matching shade of nude, reports vogue.in.
"The shoes are there to give the woman an extra lift, not to take attention away from the legs and what she is wearing. They disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of her legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette," Louboutin said.
The 50-year-old introduced the Nudes collection in select stores internationally, a re-imagining of his five most popular styles -- Pigalle, Fifi, Simple Pump, Flo and Vendome -- in shades meant to match the wearer's skin tone.
