Former Brazil captain Lucio is set to leave Sao Paulo after a brawl with coach Paulo Autuori, the Campeonato Brasileiro club confirmed.
The 35-year-old has struggled for form since joining Sao Paulo on a two-year deal from Juventus last December, reports Xinhua.
He did not travel with Autuori's squad Monday for exhibition matches in Germany and Portugal
"I'm not going to be diplomatic in my responses," Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio said Wednesday.
"We are going to negotiate Lucio. He has had a problem with the coach and for that reason we are going to have talks. We've already had an offer and now we're going to see if it's feasible."
Lucio has been capped 106 times for Brazil and captained the team to victory at the 2009 Confederations Cup.
