Actor Varun Dhawan says that when he first made his mother hear "Maa ki chunar", the latest song to be released from "ABCD 2", she was in tears.

"This song was completed while I was shooting for 'Badlapur'. I had lost my nani (maternal grandmother) at that time. I made my mother hear the song before anyone else on the computer," Varun shared here.

Unlike other songs in the album which are peppy and energetic, this song is an extremely emotional and an intense song. Varun's mother got touched by it.

"My mother couldn't hold her tears back as she had lost her mother. And so I had to work twice as hard while shooting this song as my mother had expectations from this song and had liked it," added the "Main Tera Hero" actor, who has been directed by Remo D'Souza in "ABCD 2".

He says "Maa ki chunar" is "a dedication to all mothers from the 'ABCD 2' team and Remo sir from their children".

"ABCD 2", a sequel to "ABCD - AnyBody Can Dance" will release on June 19. It is packed with music and dance.
